How did Damon Heta get from Perth to the PDC Tour?
Heta was born in Perth in 1987 and worked as a roofer there before darts became his job. On the Australian DPA circuit he won the 2019 Australian Darts Open, the Australian Masters in 2018 and 2019, and ten DPA Pro Tour events. He moved to England in 2019.
That year he won the Brisbane Darts Masters as a regional qualifier, a World Series title on home soil, and he earned a PDC Tour Card for 2020.
What has Damon Heta won?
In 2022 Heta and Simon Whitlock won the World Cup of Darts in Frankfurt, beating Wales 3-1 in the final. It was Australia's first World Cup of Darts title. The same year he won the Gibraltar Darts Trophy, his first European Tour title.
He had nine Players Championship titles as of October 2026, including two in 2025. On 27 December 2024 he hit a nine-dart finish against Luke Woodhouse at the World Championship. He was ranked 21st on the PDC Order of Merit as of October 2026.
How did Australia win the 2022 World Cup of Darts?
The final in Frankfurt was against Wales' Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton. Heta beat Price 4-0 in the opening singles match and Whitlock beat Clayton 4-2. Wales won the doubles, then Heta beat Clayton in the fourth match to complete a 3-1 win and Australia's first World Cup of Darts title.

His latest Harrows model, the Series 4, is 90% tungsten with a tapered barrel and ring cuts along its length for grip, and Harrows match-weighs each set to within 0.05g. It is made in 21g, 23g, 24g and 25g and comes with 26mm Quick Points, short Alamo VS2 shafts and Damon Heta Silika flights. The Series 2 and Series 3 are earlier 90% tungsten Heta models.
